We have decided to transition to a beef herd next year and are selling our beautiful Jersey cows.
We would prefer to sell them as a complete herd, but we will consider selling them individually if necessary.
All cows are freshened, in good health, and proven milk producers. They have not been tested for A2/A2 genetics and were exposed to a Jersey bull this fall.
All animals are in Green Lake. Animals available are:
- Buttercup & Smore (Cow-Calf Pair): 2-year-old Jersey cow with female calf (DOB 7/11/26). Height: 45 inches. Good milking cow, currently bred with an estimated next calf DOB of 6/09/27. — $3,600 ($2,900 + $700)
- Kumquat & Georgie (Cow-Calf Pair): 2-year-old Jersey cow with male calf (DOB 6/3/26). Height: 48 inches. Good milking cow, currently bred with an estimated next calf DOB of 5/27/27. — $3,400 ($2,800 + $600)
- Kasupi: 5-year-old Jersey milk cow. Height: 48 inches. Very docile, good producer with great cream. Bred with an estimated next calf DOB of 5/20/27. — $2,300
- Quilp: Weaned male Jersey bull calf (son of Kasupi). DOB 3/9/26. Height: 43 inches (growing). Docile with a great bloodline. — $1,000
- Dahlia: Jersey heifer. DOB 3/28/26. Height: 42 inches (growing). Ready to be bred in 2027. — $800
