Miniature cows
We have miniature cows available for small farms and homesteads. They are jersey crosses and make excellent family milk cows. Milk and cream production is outstanding. They have gentle demeanors and are dedicated mothers. Please consider that cows are herd animals and are happiest with other cows or a mixture of donkeys, horses, goats, etc.
Thelma
Jersey/Hereford cross, 40 inches. Maybe the sweetest, calmest cow you’ll ever meet. Very consistent milk production, producing 2.5 gallons daily, milked once a day. Thick cream, easily churned into butter. She’s not a picky grazer, and browses on brush like mulberry and buckthorn. Calf expected in December.
Tree and plant nursery
We grow native, edible, and medicinal trees, shrubs, and perennials for farmers, homesteaders, or others looking to diversify their landscape. We also offer planting services.
Milk, eggs, honey
Our mini Jerseys produce delicious, nutritious milk and cream while helping keep grass, brush, and invasive species under control.
Our layer hens produce eggs and process community food scraps into compost for our plants.
Bees pollinate our plants and share their honey.
